This page shows the results of several (not-so-simple) lighting exercises. Light sources were specified directly in a RIB file with the intention of altering a viewers perception of the "mood" and/or scale of a cluster of simple plain white objects. Particular attention was given to camera placement, framing and the general composition of the objects in the scene.

This first image was rendered with three rear shadow spotlights and one fill light in the front.

This image was rendered with a greater field of view (50). A worm's eye perspective also helps make the building look larger.

This last image shows a color light setup with hue variation.
